Bruno Mathsson
The architect and designer Bruno Mathsson was born in Varnamo, Sweden, in 1907. No one has made a greater impact on modern Swedish furniture design than Mathsson. Bruno Mathsson and DUX had a close, creative partnership during the 60s and 70s which created several timeless design classics that DUX still produces.
Comfortableseating is an art, but it shouldn’t be. Making furniture to sit on should be produced with such fine art that sitting in themdoesn’tneed to be an art.
